There are men who join a brand. And then there are men who were simply always there — like load-shedding, like biltong, like the smell of a braai three suburbs away. Steve is the latter.
Co-host of the Uncles TV podcast, Steve brings to every episode what scientists refer to as moerse general knowledge — a vast, accumulated wisdom that can only be explained by the fact that he was personally present when fire was created. He has seen things. He remembers things. He will tell you about those things whether you asked or not, and you will be better for it.
At 60 years old, Steve is what the industry calls an ou handbriek — a reliable, seasoned, slightly weathered instrument that still works exactly as intended and has absolutely no interest in being replaced by anything newer or quieter.
Recently divorced and, by all accounts, thoroughly enjoying the situation. Interests include long walks on the beach, lekker conversations, and the kind of general knowledge that wins pub quizzes and ends arguments.
